T1 vs T2: Key Differences & Which Terminal Is Yours
Airline terminal mapping, transfer routes, and check-in flow.
Data worth knowing before you go
From our typical-pattern data, T1 security is busiest around 1 PM (about 16 min on average). If you depart then, arrive a little earlier than usual. See terminal congestion by hour on the Busy Times page.
Arriving at the wrong terminal at Incheon Airport can cost you 30–45 minutes. Always check your e-ticket — the terminal is printed on the first page next to your flight number.

Transferring Between T1 and T2
Free shuttle bus: Departs from 3F centre (T1 exit 8; T2 between exits 4 and 5) about every 10 minutes, 05:00–23:00. About 15 min T1→T2, 18 min T2→T1. Free of charge.
AREX train: Takes 6 minutes between terminals. Requires a ticket (1,200 won).
Allow at least 30 minutes for the transfer — more during peak times. If connecting between terminals on the same booking, check whether the airline provides assistance.
